IEEE COMSOC Lahore Chapter in collaboration with Al-Khawarizmi Institute of Computer Science UET Lahore organized the 16th International Conference on Open-Source system and technologies ICOSST’ 2022 on 14-15 December, 2022.
The Chief Guest of the opening ceremony was Chairman Punjab Higher Education Commission, Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir. Other distinguished guests included Chairman Higher Education Commission Dr. Mukhtar Ahmad, Chairman of PM Task Force on Science & Technology Dr. Atta Ur Rehman, CEO Netsole Technologies Pakistan Mr. Saleem Ghauri, Senior Vice Chairman PASHA CEO FRAG Games Ali Ihsan and also ISDB Partner from University of the Gambia Dr. Mbemba Hydara
71 research articles were received from various countries; only a handful top quality 18 papers were accepted by the Technical Evaluation Committee qualifying the merit-based criteria. Speakers were invited from prestigious universities of Pakistan and other countries like China, Australia, United Kingdom and Germany to deliver talks in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Big data & Cloud computing, Swam Robotics. The industrial exposition and recruitment drive were also arranged in ICOSST 2022. A panel discussion was also held ‘Catching the Web 3.0 wave for Pakistan. The distinguished panel comprised Ahmed Muzammil, Fakhar Khan, Prof. Dr. Shoab Khan Prof. Dr. Usman Ghani Khan and Mr. Ahmed Baseer.
