On February 26th and 27th, 2022, the IEEE Pakistan Congress was hosted at the Royalton Hotel in Faisalabad, with students from all around Pakistan in attendance. More than 1,500 students from 70 institutions and over 40 towns in Pakistan participated in this historic Congress. It was sponsored and arranged by IEEE ComSoc Lahore Chapter, IEEE Faisalabad Subsection and IEEE Lahore Section. This gathering presently holds the record for the most attendees of any IEEE Pakistan congress. This gathering included not only students, but also engineers, doctors, professors, and industry specialists. Event consists of Technical Talks, Entrepreneurship sessions, Panel & Round Table Discussions, Women Empowerment, Personality Development, and Success Stories, IEEE Awards Night, IEEE Sections Meeting, Student Branch Meet up, IEEE Sections Meeting; Student Branch Meet up, Technical Talks, Entrepreneurship Sessions; Panel & Round Table Discussions.
Opening ceremony started with the message of Mian Idrees Chairman Sitara group followed by Atif Munir Sheikh, President FCCI and Mr. Kashif Bashir, vice chair IEEE Lahore section and Chair IEEE ComSoc Lahore Chapter Mr. Kashif briefly talk about IEEE history and its mission for humanity. He also encourages students and professional to join IEEE membership and ComSoc Memebrship. Later on Dr. Muhammad Gufran, Chair IEEE Faisalabad Sub Section present the welcome note.
